Welcome to Birthright of Kokomo

At Birthright, we understand the challenges related to unplanned pregnancies. We know that it can be an overwhelming situation. We also know that there is hope for the mother and her child. Birthright believes that “It is the right of every pregnant woman to give birth, and the right of every child to be born.” Birthright is here to be the friend that a pregnant woman needs as she navigates an unplanned pregnancy. We offer love, friendship, and support to women who are pregnant or think they may be pregnant. Birthright services are always free, non-judgmental and confidential. We can also provide information, referrals, and resources to help the woman help herself. Birthright is available 24/7 through our toll-free helpline. Birthright is not involved in any religious movements, political activities, or lobbying. Birthright’s focus is on loving the mother, reminding her that there is hope and ensuring she is not alone.

Birthright International Convention, June 2016! Newark, NJ

I attended the convention in New Jersey along with about 200 other Birthright volunteers from all over the USA, Canada, and Africa. We learned of all the advancements that Birthright is doing in social media adveritsing, were given additional training, and updated about a lot of exciting Birthright news!

Carrie Lupini, Director

Thank you to Buffalo Wild Wings who held a fundraiser for us on June 15th, 2016! By eating at BBW's and letting the server know you were there for Birthright, 10% of sales that day went to our pregnancy center :). We do not receive any government assistance and have an all volunteer staff. We rely completely on donations from generous people to fund our ministry.  Please look for another BBW's fundraising event in September. I will keep you posted!

Jewelry Party Fundraiser

A huge thank you to Teresa Rozzi for planning and hosting the April jewelry show fundraiser for Birthright! Eer efforts raised needed funds for mothers and babies. 25% of all sales from the party went to Birthright of Kokomo! Thank you so much Teresa! If you would like to help Teresa for a future Birthright fundraising jewelry party, you can email her at:

Wish List

We are in need of "like new" or new maternity clothes, especially pants, shorts, skirts, and sweat pants. Like new or new maternity scrubs are also needed in any size. The clothes need to be specifically maternity clothes in order for us to be able to give them to our expecting mothers. Maternity underwear is also a need. We can only accept NEW maternity underwear and are in need of all sizes. Nursing bras in any size, "like new" or new. New baby clothes in sizes preemie, 0-3 month, and 3-6 month sizes are the sizes that we can accept. We accept only new baby clothes for safety reasons. Some items that we cannot accept for safety reasons are: Formula, baby food, furniture, safety equipment, and pacifiers. If you have a question about what we are allowed to accept, please call us and we would be happy to speak with you! :) Safety is always a top priority.  Yard work is always a need and we gratefully accept offers to help maintain our yard (lawn mowing, weeding, and other yard clean up).

Thank you to the Daughter's of Isabella!

Thank you so much for inviting me to speak at you September meeting and for the beautiful gifts and financial donations that you gave to Birthright! I had a wonderful time meeting with you, having dinner with you, and sharing about the ministry of Birthright with you. The gifts you donated to Birthright are so needed and we are very grateful for your support of our pregnancy help center. Thank you again for inviting me to speak at your meeting, I truly enjoyed it :).

A Big Thank You to the high school youth group of St. Joan of Arc Church!

The youth group, along with their leaders, parents, and IU Kokomo students came to clean up and care for our yard last week. They all did a fantastic job and our yard looks so great now! We have a large yard to maintain, so there was plenty of work to go around. Mowing, trimming, weeding (lots and lots of weeding!), sweeping and tree trimming were done by the group. I am SO thankful for the work they did for us and our yard looks SO much better now!! Thank you and please come back whenever you can.

Billboard Ready! Thank you to the Knights of Columbus!

Just this Sept. 2015, a 2 sided Birthright of Kokomo billboard advertisment up on U.S. 22 between 350 W. and 400 W!

We would like to thank the Knights of Columbus for paying for the vinyl artwork covering for our billboard advertisment!! This was a huge blessing to our ministry!

If you would like to sponsor one of our monthly lease payments for the billboard ad, please contact our office. We would love to hear from you! smiley

How Can You Help?

We cannot help girls and women who are experiencing a crisis pregnancy or need help carrying their babies to term, if they do not know about us.

This is why advertising our free and confidential pregnancy help services is so crucial. If girls and women do not know about Birthright, they may go somewhere else that does not respect them or their babies.

This is why we need your help for our advertising costs. We advertise in several area school districts. We also advertise in 2 local restaurants, a bowling alley, the Markland Mall, and on a billboard near a local high school.

We need your financial help to keep the services of Birthright out in the public on a consistent basis where people will see them, because a crisis doesn't make an appointment.

You can help keep the services of Birthright advertised by becoming a monthly sponsor with us!

We have $200 and $300 monthly sponsorships available, but any amount is greatly appreciated!

Would you consider sponsoring some of Birthright's advertising costs for a month, 6 months, or even a year?

We thank you for considering helping us to keep Birthright's services advertised!

Birthright Convention in Toronto!  June 12-14, 2015

I was blessed to be able to attend the convention along with approximately 300 other Birthright volunteers from the USA, Canada, and Ghana, and also the Birthright international board of directors. The theme for this year's convention was, "Birthright: Love Always".  It was a great opportunity to be given the most up to date information about Birthright, be strengthened in the Birthright directives, and to share in the knowledge of other Birthright directors.

Do you have a couple of hours a week that you could give to help new moms in our community?
