Thank our chapters for their support and patience

Birthright International launches new website!

Halifax, NS: June 14, 2013 - Birthright International is excited to announce the launch of our new website. It has been a project that we have worked very hard on, and it has taken countless hours of dedication by many people.

Birthright International has recognized the need for this project for many years, but significant funding for it was also needed. Gratefully, through the generosity of all of our chapters following the 2012 Birthright International Convention, we were able to make this project a priority.

We are extremely proud of what we have accomplished. Birthright International wishes to thank our chapters for their support and patience, especially this past year as we developed the new website. We know that our new website will help us persevere in and achieve the Birthright mission, and most importantly reach the women we are dedicated to serving.

Birthright International Convention 2013

Halifax, NS: June 14-16, 2013

Our annual Convention has been an opportunity for centres from across the globe to come together and share their knowledge, challenges, and love.

Together, we have grown and renewed the Birthright spirit this weekend. As always, the Birthright International Convention was a wonderful opportunity for us all to be reminded that the essence of Birthright is love.

A Survival Guide to Kid-Focused Events - Part 4

How to survive the “zoo, aquarium or theme park”

These place can actually be quite fun, but tend to be a little exhausting as well - especially if you're constantly running after a toddler or if there are long lines to see certain exhibits or go on certain rides. Make sure you pack a picnic so you can escape to a secluded area for a few moments RNR. It’s also a really good idea to take a friend (or two) and their little one(s) so you've got some back up and someone to talk to while you stare at giraffes, attempt to find the orangutans or spin around in the teacups.
