Welcome to Birthright
At Birthright, we understand the challenges related to unplanned pregnancies. Birthright is available to women for as long as they need us. We offer love, friendship, and support to women who are pregnant or think they may be pregnant. Birthright is interdenominational and is not involved in any political activities, or lobbying. Birthright’s focus is on loving the mother, reminding her that there is hope and ensuring she is not alone.
Get involved
Birthright relies on the dedication, time and talents of volunteers. We welcome any and all individuals who share our philosophy and commitment to offer loving, confidential, nonjudgmental support to those who are pregnant or think they may be pregnant. There are many volunteer opportunities available and we would gladly discuss our volunteer program with you. Full training and mentorship is provided for our volunteers so you can best help the women who need you.

Welcome new volunteers!
Continuing with the theme of Spring and new beginnings, we are excited to introduce 2 new volunteers who have joined our Birthright family! After our treasurer Hal Bray retired from our board of directors to move out of state with his wife Linda, current board member Roderick Alvernaz offered to take on the role of treasurer. However with his plate full at the moment, he was going to need a co-treasurer. Michelle Renelt answered that call! Michelle joins us from Discovery Bay and is already on the ball and showing us that her and Rodrick will be an amazing team! Welcome to the board Michelle! Last but certainly not least, Jennifer Morris joins both our Board of Directors, and office volunteer squad. Jennifer is from Discovery Bay and is a former Sheriff! How cool is that? Jennifer is full of ideas and energy! She will be a huge asset to both our board and office. Welcome Jennifer!
Goodbye & Good Luck
As Spring approaches it is the time for new beginnings, and our treasurer Hal Bray and his wife Linda are moving out of the state for a new beginning of their own. Hal has been on our board of directors and maintaining our books for many years now, So many we lost count! While we will surely miss him, we wish him and Linda all the best and hope that they're new home is everything they are hoping for and more! Thanks for your service Hal, and Good luck!
Paint Nite Fundraiser a Success!
Thank you all who came out to our first Paint Nite Fundraiser! It was a great success and we had a lot of fun! It was so interesting to see so many lovely interpretations of the beautiful heart painting. We hope you will join us again next year. Pictures are available on our Facebook page. Paint Nite Fundraiser for Birthright
Purchase tickets here Mark your calendars everyone! September 22nd at 6PM, Birthright of Brentwood will be hosting a night of painting, wine, and fun! Join us as we raise glasses and funds to help support our moms and their families. When you buy a ticket for this event, $15 will be donated to Birthright. To date, Paint Nite has helped raise over $3.5 million for those in need with lively creative events that feel more fun than philanthropic. Feel good about giving as our local artist guides you and your friends through two hours of painting, drinking, and laughing ‘til your cheeks hurt. The best part? You don’t have to be an artist to have an amazing time. Wine and other beverages, as well as food, will be available for purchase.
