Welcome to Birthright

At Birthright, we understand the challenges related to unplanned pregnancies. Birthright is available to women for as long as they need us. We offer love, friendship, and support to women who are pregnant or think they may be pregnant.  Birthright is interdenominational and is not involved in any political activities, or lobbying. Birthright’s focus is on loving the mother, reminding her that there is hope and ensuring she is not alone.

Get involved

Birthright relies on the dedication, time and talents of volunteers. We welcome any and all individuals who share our philosophy and commitment to offer loving, confidential, nonjudgmental support to those who are pregnant or think they may be pregnant. There are many volunteer opportunities available and we would gladly discuss our volunteer program with you. Full training and mentorship is provided for our volunteers so you can best help the women who need you.

Chapter Announcements

Birthright of Winona is open! Our office hours are Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, & Saturdays from 12-2 pm and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3-5 pm.

We have implemented a new procedure for daily cleaning and disinfecting of the office when it’s open.

Masks are required for volunteers and clients.

Volunteers who are feeling symptoms of any illness are asked to stay home.

If you or anyone in your home has symptoms of a fever, cough, or sore throat, we kindly ask that you not come into the Birthright office. Please call us and we can prepare supplies for you that you may need. You can then arrange for someone to pick the items up for you from our curbside.

We are also still available by phone to talk with anyone experiencing difficulties regarding pregnancy or parenting during office hours. When our office is closed, you can call our Birthright national helpline 24/7 at 800-550-4900.

Thank you for your understanding and patience with our temporary changes while we do our part to keep everyone safe.
